About this monument
This Temple is enclosed within a laterite boundary wall which has four corner towers is a classical example of the Malla architecture.The Temple is perhaps a pancha chuda (five towered) one facing the south.There are arched corridors on all sides of the sanctum with beautifully executed pillars and the inner chamber has domed top. The entrance porch arched corridors on two sides. The entrance to the Temple is surmounted by a Nahabat Khana on top of the gateway. Image Of Shri Krishna Is enshrined in a provisional Temple nearby. A fragmentary inscription found from the debris nearby dates the Temple to 1638 A.D.
