About this monument
In close proximity of the Lal bandh stand one small and two big temples. The entire complex is known as Jor-Mandir. Among these temples, two on the south and north are a little larger than the one in the middle. The central temple is decorated with extensive and elaborate ornamentation on the plastered wall of the laterite structure. The decorations mostly illustrate scene from the Ramayana and Krishnalila episodes. The builder of this group of temples was Gopala Simha who had raised the structures in 1726 A.D.
