About this monument
The temple is the only pancharatna temple built entirely of laterite. Of its five ratnas, the central one is octagonal while those at the corners are square. Like most temples at the site, it faces south. The temple is provided with triple-arched opening on the east, south and west.The temple decoration consists only of rosette on the spandrel. Queen Siromani, wife of Vira Simha, built the temple, which is one of the largest of its kind at the site, in 1665 A.D.
