This is the finest and oldest atchala temple in the Birbhum District. The temple stands on a laterite foundation and is built of soft limestone. It depicts on its triple-arched façade episodes like taming of Kaliya, Krishnalila, Rasamandala and deities like Anantasayin Vishnu, Brahma Vishnu, Vayu, Indra, Karttika, Ganesa etc. Besides, exquisite decoration adorm the other parts of the façade. The date of the temple is not known but the execution of the decoration is in style of the period th th during c.17 -18 century A.D.
