About this monument

A beautiful model of a wooden chariot in laterite stands close to the gate of the almost lost fort of the Malla capital. The main body of the chariot is a miniature ekaratna shrine with triple-arched façade on its every side. On stylistic ground the chariot may be taken to belong to the 17th century A.D.
