About this monument
The brick-built ekaratna temple has its face turned to the south. It has a verandah with triple-arched façade each on the south, east and west. On the north the verandah has only a single arched opening (now closed). The verandahs are interconnected. The temple has no decorative designs except the rosettes on the spandrel. The temple bears no foundation inscription but on stylistic ground it appears to have been built during the early years of the 18th century.
