The temple stands on the northern bank of the river Kansai. The south facing temple has a pancharatna plan. The porch in front opens through a triple-arched façade. The arches are multi-cusped and supported by free-standing and engaged columns. The dilapidated temple has been restored by the Archaeological Survey of India. The undated temple may be placed during the 19th century on stylistic ground.
