The temple, a laterite construction, is of the ekaratna type. It faces south with triple arched façade on all of its four sides. It has the usual roof resembling the tortoise-back. On the center of the roof rises the tall pinnacle. Traces of mural painting may be noticed on its eastern, southern and western sides. The temple, according to its foundation inscription, was built by Vira Simha in 1658 A.D. for enshrining the images of Radha and Krishna.
